My mom's dating a vampire? That's something I never expected to hear my mom say. It's like something out of a bad horror movieexcept it's actually happening in my own life.
I know that she met him in some kind of chatroom, and he's not a real vampire. He's just a guy who likes to dress up in vampire costumes and act the part. But still, it's pretty weird.
I have to admit, it was a bit of a shock when I found out about them. I mean, my mom is a middle-aged woman who works as a nurse, not a teenage girl who reads vampire books. But I guess you never know what will happen in life.
At first, I was worried that this would be dangerous for herafter all, vampires are supposed to be dangerous creatures. But after talking to him and getting to know him, I'm starting to feel more comfortable about the situation. He seems like a nice person, and it seems like he really cares about my mom.
I'm still not sure if I'm completely comfortable with the idea of my mom dating a vampire, but at least I know he's not going to try and hurt her or anything like that. I guess I'll just take it one day at a time and see how it goes.
